Discover the soul of Portugal through the stones that tell its story. This was the concept behind the StonebyPORTUGAL Awards trophy, promoted by Assimagra and designed by Olivah: a symbol that evokes a true geological testament.
The core sample, also known as a “tarolo” or “carote,” is a specimen obtained by drilling into the ground at a quarry. We repurposed stone fragments from leftover material, bringing to life the diversity of colors, types, and qualities of Portuguese stones. Each layer fitted into the trophy carefully represents not only a geological depth but also a moment in history.
