The signature collection by Studio Olivah, developed for the Broot – Dialogues from Within project, celebrates the encounter between the power of Serra da Estrela and the materials that emerge from it. Inspired by a landscape shaped by time and geology, the pieces translate the forms of the mountain and its ecosystem through artisanal knowledge and contemporary processes.

The yellow granite from the region expresses the strength of magmatic rocks and the imposing presence of the mountain. In contrast, burel, a traditional wool fabric produced from the sheep of the Serra, was incorporated into the pieces through textile art developed by architect Paula Sica, in collaboration with AriscoBrand and Oficina 166. This creation brought a renewed expression to the pieces, exploring volumes, folds, and textures in contemporary compositions.

Our collection consists of an armchair, a side table, a bench, a wall panel, a set of vases, and a footrest. The pieces evoke the hardness and permanence of stone, balanced by the softness and warmth of the fabric, creating a visual language that honors the natural forms and material history of Serra da Estrela.
