At our studio in Sintra, we welcome people, ideas, and aspirations. We challenge convention through creativity and technology—reusing and transforming stone to craft exclusive pieces that inhabit spaces with design and harmony.

Passion for stone

Olivah was founded in 2021 out of a passion and a desire to do more with stone — something innovative that values and embraces the natural beauty of stone as it is. Something that respects the environment, people, and artisanal practices.

With this vision in mind, Gisella Tortoriello, an architect with over 20 years of experience in the natural stone sector, founded Olivah and invited creators, architects, and artists to bring their ideas to life.

It is in the diversity of our small team that Olivah flourishes. Every skill, accent, and perspective makes a valuable contribution to our identity. We are united by creativity, motivation, and the Olivah dream.

As a team, we work with nature and bring it into homes. From sketches to unique pieces, each member adds their own vocabulary to the process, which forms a dialect uniquely our own. Together, we speak the language of stone

We work with local raw materials and, whenever possible, we reuse stone already extracted from quarries.
