In artist Vítor Reis’ collection, limestone and red clay, relatives in both geology and Portuguese culture, come together in a sensitive dialogue between strength and malleability. The limestone, which gives rise to the clay-rich soils that have sustained traditional pottery for centuries, appears here as a firm and protective structure, while the clay, shaped on the wheel, evokes the ancestral ceramics of the Estremadura region.

Produced and curated by Olivah, this collection embraces the challenge of uniting two materials of distinct nature. The limestone, quarried by Filstone from the Fátima region, retains its rustic character. The clay, crafted by the artisans of Casa da Olaria, draws inspiration from traditional forms to take on unexpected uses.

The collection includes a coffee table, a side table, a sink, vases and centerpieces. Each piece celebrates the contrast between raw material and molded gesture, translating a contemporary vision of the Portuguese material tradition.
