A program that connects the country
Some encounters happen so naturally, almost as if they made sense even before they took place.
This was the case with Olivah’s appearance on the program *Intercidades* on Canal Conta Lá, at the invitation of Portugal Faz Bem. The show travels across the country like a journey in motion, connecting the studio with local communities in real time and giving a voice to the people who shape each place—from small-scale initiatives to the stories that define the identity of each region.
This is the kind of setting we identify with. A space where culture, tradition, and what is genuinely Portuguese come to the fore, bringing communities closer together and revealing a country that is richer, more diverse, and more vibrant.

An inside look
In a conversation with Rita Ferro Rodrigues, Gisella gave Olivah an inside look—not just at what we do, but at how we think, how we feel, and how we create each piece.
We have discussed the process, the material, and time.
Natural stone remains our starting point; it is from this that ideas, forms, and designs are born. But it is also the foundation of one of our most important principles: building upon what already exists, while respecting the origin and potential of each fragment.
It was an intimate and spontaneous conversation, with plenty of room to pause and reflect. A moment that perfectly captures what we believe in: that design is born from listening, from materials, from the environment, and from the stories we carry with us.
Items that are already included
Today, Olivah’s segments are already a regular feature on *Intercidades* and also on Juca Magalhães’s show, on the same channel.
A side table, a coffee table, and our vases blend seamlessly into the space, accompanying various conversations and moments. This time, Gisella also brought some smaller pieces to the interview, showcasing another side of our work.
A tray, a gym dumbbell, and other objects created by repurposing industrial waste and transforming it into sculptural pieces. Because we also create with whatever we find along the way.
Being there was also a way to share with more people a project created with dedication and purpose, deeply rooted in Portugal and its natural stones.
