For the second year running, Olivah has designed the StonebyPORTUGAL trophy, created by Assimagra as a symbol of Portugal's diversity and geological depth.
The first edition was developed in 2023, consolidating an ongoing partnership around the celebration of natural stone design. Inspired by the sample of testimony, this edition's trophy was produced with stones from the Broot Dialogues project, also in partnership with Assimagra.
It brings together basalt from the Azores, marble from Alentejo, schist from the North, limestone from the Center, and granite from Serra da Estrela, representing the richness and layers of Portuguese geology.
An object that conveys the memory of the land and the identity of our territory.

Designed by architect and designer Paula Sica for Studio Olivah's Lugares collection, the Carmo stool is the result of a graphic-architectural journey inspired by the old urban typographies of 20th century Lisbon. These signs, once found on commercial and industrial façades, were key elements of the advertising of the time and formed an integral part of the city's visual landscape.
Reviving this cultural memory, the designer transforms the old inscription "AU BONHEUR DES DAMES" into a three-dimensional object, a stool carved from stone. The choice of Lioz, a typical stone from Lisbon area, reinforces the connection to local identity.
More than just a seat, the Carmo is a piece that expresses Lisbon's history and culture in both form and material.
